18-year-old Demid Volkov wins Russian Combat Sambo Championship

Demid Volkov became the Russian Combat Sambo champion in the 88 kg division at just 18 years old. The St. Petersburg prospect trains under Alexander Korshunov and spars with Denis Goltsov, Sergey Mokhnatkin, and Khadis Ibragimov. Volkov recently defeated Platon Lebedev to win the junior MMA championship in the 93 kg category.
