Umar Nurmagomedov has signed with Real American Freestyle and will make his promotional debut against Urijah Faber at RAF Abu Dhabi on Nov. 14 at Etihad Arena. Promotional officials confirmed the signing. Nurmagomedov is coming off a knockout loss to Song Yadong in the main event of UFC Shanghai in August, while Faber is seeking his first RAF win after tech fall losses to Henry Cejudo and Arman Tsarukyan. The card is headlined by Colby Covington defending a cruiserweight crossover title against Khamzat Chimaev.

Cody Garbrandt is one of the UFC's most explosive former bantamweight champions, and Urijah Faber's wrestling sessions helped shape his rise. Nicknamed No Love, Garbrandt built his mixed martial arts career at Team Alpha Male in Sacramento, where Faber personally recruited him after the then-18-year-old messaged him on Twitter promising to train there one day. Garbrandt regularly rolled wrestling with Faber himself alongside teammates like Chad Mendes and Lance Palmer, crediting the daily grind of going on the ground with the UFC hall of famer for pushing him to the limit. That foundation carried him to a shocking 2016 knockout of Dominick Cruz for the bantamweight title. Known for relentless power and ferocious hand speed, Garbrandt's Team Alpha Male roots remain a key part of his combat sports story.

Conor McGregor is the biggest star mixed martial arts has produced, and his Ultimate Fighter coaching stint was pure chaos. The former two-division UFC champion coached against Urijah Faber on TUF season 22 in 2015, memorably dropping watermelons from a helicopter onto a desert target during a coach's challenge that Faber ultimately won, with the trash talk between them becoming some of the funniest content the show ever produced. McGregor returned to coach against Michael Chandler on TUF 31 in 2023, ahead of a fight that never materialized after injuries derailed the matchup. Known for explosive left-hand power and relentless banter, McGregor's ferocious wit as a coach remains one of combat sports' most entertaining reality TV runs.
