Two later Mexico City events sit outside that sheet, while UFC Stats lists 12 eligible bouts in March 2025 and 13 in February 2026. Those cards added 11 finishes and 14 decisions.

Adding those 25 results produces the current comparison below.

The simple claim fails: UFC fights at elevated venues didn’t finish more often in this sample. The rate matched the historical comparison after rounding to one decimal place.

The original 183-bout audit reached the same practical answer, with a 50.3% finish rate only 0.8 percentage points above the historical figure. The 2025 and 2026 cards moved the updated rate down to 49.5%.

That doesn’t mean elevation has no effect, because total finishes are too blunt to capture it.
