Chris Padilla misses weight by 900 grams, forfeits 20% of purse at UFC 327

Twenty-three of twenty-four fighters successfully made weight for UFC 327. Chris Padilla was the sole exception, coming in 900 grams (approximately 2 pounds) over the limit. As a result, Padilla will be fined 20% of his purse, which will be awarded to his opponent Markel Mederos. Despite the weight miss, the bout between Padilla and Mederos will proceed as scheduled.
