The UFC officially announced during the live broadcast that Olympic wrestling champion Gable Steveson has signed with the promotion. He is scheduled to make his debut at UFC 329 on July 11 in Las Vegas during International Fight Week. The 25-year-old Steveson is an Olympic gold medalist in freestyle wrestling who transitioned to MMA last year. He has already compiled a 3-0 record with all three victories coming via KO/TKO in the first round. Steveson trains at Jackson Wink MMA under the guidance and mentorship of Jon Jones.
