Carlos Ulberg captured the UFC light heavyweight championship by knocking out Jiri Prochazka at 3:45 of the first round in the UFC 327 main event. In other main card action, Paulo Costa knocked out Azamat Murzakanov in the third round at 1:23, Josh Hokit defeated Curtis Blaydes by unanimous decision in a fight that earned Fight of the Night honors, Dominik Reyes defeated Johnny Walker by split decision, and Cub Swanson finished Nate Landwehr by TKO in the first round. Performance of the Night bonuses went to both Ulberg and Hokit. The preliminary card featured wins by Tatiana Suarez, Mateusz Gamrот, Kevin Holland, and Aaron Pico among others.
