Dana White shared the story of how a fight for Josh Hockit was arranged for the White House card literally within an hour during UFC 327. White asked Hockit if he wanted to compete at the White House event, and Hockit agreed, telling the president thanks. White instructed Mick Maynard to find a fight for Derrick Lewis, planning to discuss it the following week. However, when Joe Rogan asked on air during UFC 327 if there was room on the White House card, White immediately grabbed Maynard and sent him to talk to Hockit. Hockit was being loaded into an ambulance at the time but still gave his consent to fight.
