Carlos Ulberg has rejected Jiri Prochazka's post-fight statements that he showed mercy during their bout. Ulberg stated there was no mercy and that the difference between a champion and someone playing to the crowd is exactly this. He believes Prochazka was driven by fear and indecision, and suggests Prochazka knows he is pretending for the audience. Ulberg dismissed any chance of a rematch, stating he doesn't think Prochazka will get past Magomed Ankalaev. He concluded by saying he believes Ankalaev will dominate Prochazka if they fight.
