Carlos Ulberg strongly denied Jiri Prochazka's statement that he showed mercy during their fight. Ulberg stated that there was no mercy and that what drove Prochazka was fear and indecisiveness, not compassion. He accused Prochazka of playing to the audience and pretending, claiming this is Prochazka's excuse to get a rematch. Ulberg emphasized he is there to be the best in the world, not to play games. He declared there would be no chance of a rematch and predicted that Prochazka would not get past Magomed Ankalaev, saying Ankalaev would beat him decisively.
