Dana White has shown how the arena will appear for the upcoming UFC event at the White House. White explained that his production team is building a stage in Europe that will be shipped to Philadelphia and then trucked to Washington DC for installation on the South Lawn. The UFC is funding the entire event without using taxpayer money, presenting it as a gift for America's 250th anniversary. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets through UFCfreedom250.com. Free tickets will be available for the Ellipse, a park across from the arena that can hold over 100,000 fans. The fight weekend will include a two-day fan festival featuring a press conference, weigh-ins, and performances by the Zac Brown Band.
