ACA President Magomed Bibulatov candidly discussed doping in his organization, stating that more fighters use banned substances than compete clean. He noted that fighters accepting bouts on short notice are typically clean because they haven't had time to cycle off performance-enhancing drugs. The promotion began testing fighters six months ago after giving them time to clear their systems, and while they have identified both clean and dirty athletes, Bibulatov is still deciding how to handle violators. He mentioned that implementing comprehensive drug testing is expensive and would ideally require cooperation among all Russian MMA promotions, though he considers such collaboration unlikely. Bibulatov indicated that public disclosure of test results and potential one-year suspensions for violators are being considered.
