Manager Ash Belcastro confirmed that Carlos Ulberg suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). The surgery went very well according to the manager, and Ulberg is focused on returning as soon as possible. However, recovery from an ACL tear can take up to 12 months, and it is uncertain whether Ulberg will be able to compete by the end of 2026. The injury raises questions about whether the UFC should introduce an interim title in the light heavyweight division.
