ACA president Magomed Bibulatov provided candid insights about doping control within the promotion in an interview with Ushatayka. He revealed that more fighters use performance-enhancing drugs than compete clean, and that fighters who accept bouts on short notice are usually clean because they "didn't have time to apply anything." Bibulatov explained that implementing doping control is expensive and would require collaboration among all Russian promotions, which he considers unlikely. The promotion initially gave fighters six months to clear their systems and allowed certain therapeutic substances, then began testing fighters and compiling data on violations. While he considered one-year suspensions for violators, ACA is still determining how to proceed with enforcement and whether to continue the testing program.
