ACA president Magomed Bibulatov candidly discussed doping control within the promotion, revealing that more fighters use performance-enhancing drugs than compete clean. Bibulatov noted that fighters accepting bouts on short notice are typically clean because they lack time to use substances. The organization implemented a six-month clean-up period and tested fighters, but Bibulatov acknowledged the challenge of managing violators remains unresolved. He emphasized that comprehensive doping control is expensive and would be more feasible if all Russian promotions collaborated, though he considers such cooperation unlikely. ACA has been tracking which fighters use banned substances but has not yet decided on public disclosure or definitive punishment policies beyond considering one-year suspensions.
