Lightweight prospect Nikita Kulshin improved to 9-0 by knocking out Junior Melo (15-9-1) in the first round at an LFA event. The 26-year-old from North Ossetia, who trains at Kill Cliff gym, has now won all six of his LFA fights over the past three years. His previous four victories came by decision before returning to the knockout column. After the fight, Kulshin took the microphone and called out the UFC, declaring he is ready to compete on short notice at any time. He has been living in the United States for four years.
