Lightweight Nikita Kulshin improved his record to 9-0 by knocking out Junior Melo (15-9-1) in the opening round at a Legacy Fighting Alliance event. The 26-year-old fighter from North Ossetia has now won all six of his LFA bouts over three years, with this being his second knockout victory in the promotion after four consecutive decision wins. Following the victory, Kulshin grabbed the microphone and called out the UFC, stating he is ready to step in on short notice at any time.
