A 21-year-old man from Dagestan named Magomed S. was fined for inciting ethnic hatred in a UFC-related Telegram chat. The Kizlyar District Court reviewed the case after law enforcement discovered offensive comments he made three years ago in the UFC Eurasia Telegram chat. During an argument with other users, Magomed wrote derogatory statements about Russians, though he apologized within 90 minutes and acknowledged that there are worthy people among Russians. In court, Magomed admitted guilt and expressed remorse for his actions. He was found guilty under Article 20.3.1 of the Administrative Code and fined 10,000 rubles.
