Recently, he reposted content from geographer Dmitry Koryukhin, a school teacher in Dagestan, who shared aerial photographs of Makhachkala showing what he characterized as an urban catastrophe. The post notes this is part of a wider Russian problem of excessive high-rise construction in areas with stagnant or declining populations.
