Vadim Nemkov believes Alexander Ovechkin more recognizable than Khabib in America

Bellator champion Vadim Nemkov stated in an interview with Ushatayka that Alexander Ovechkin is currently more recognizable in America than Khabib Nurmagomedov. Nemkov explained that hockey is extremely popular among American children, and Ovechkin's recent record-breaking achievements keep him constantly in the news. He noted that Ovechkin's breaking of Wayne Gretzky's record brought massive attention and that the hockey star continues to set records and remain in the spotlight. In contrast, Nemkov believes Khabib is no longer as prominent in American media since his retirement. Nemkov suggested that both would be recognized, but Ovechkin has greater current visibility in the United States.
