Vadim Nemkov says Alexander Ovechkin more recognizable in America than Khabib

Vadim Nemkov believes that NHL star Alexander Ovechkin is currently more recognizable in America than Khabib Nurmagomedov. In an interview with Ushatayka, Nemkov explained that many American children grow up playing hockey and know who Ovechkin is, especially after he broke Wayne Gretzky's record. He noted that Ovechkin continues to set records and remains in the spotlight regularly. By contrast, Nemkov suggested Khabib is not as well-known anymore since he is no longer competing and doesn't appear in the news as frequently. Nemkov acknowledged both are recognizable but gave the edge to Ovechkin in terms of current American awareness.
