Vadim Nemkov believes Alexander Ovechkin more recognizable in America than Khabib

Bellator champion Vadim Nemkov stated in an interview that Alexander Ovechkin is currently more recognizable in America than Khabib Nurmagomedov. Nemkov explained that many children in the United States play hockey from a young age, and youth hockey players all know who Ovechkin is. He noted that hockey participation is widespread in America, similar to Russia where many boys are enrolled in the sport. Nemkov pointed to Ovechkin's recent prominence after breaking Wayne Gretzky's record and his continued presence setting records and staying in the news. In contrast, Nemkov believes Khabib is no longer as well-known, doesn't generate as much buzz, and doesn't appear in the news as frequently.
