Vadim Nemkov shared his opinion that Alexander Ovechkin is currently more recognizable in America than Khabib Nurmagomedov. In an interview, Nemkov explained that hockey is deeply embedded in American youth culture, with many children playing the sport and knowing Ovechkin's achievements, especially after he broke Wayne Gretzky's record. Nemkov noted that Ovechkin continues to set records and remains in the headlines. In contrast, Nemkov believes Khabib is less well-known now because he no longer competes and doesn't appear in the news as frequently. Nemkov acknowledged that both would be recognized, but gave the edge to Ovechkin in terms of current American recognition.
