EA Sports announces UFC 6 with Alex Pereira and Max Holloway on covers

EA Sports has officially unveiled UFC 6, the next entry in its long-running mixed martial arts video game series, with two distinct cover athletes: Alex Pereira on the standard edition and Max Holloway on the Ultimate edition.

Pereira, nicknamed "Poatan," brings championship credibility to the standard cover. The 38-year-old Brazilian is the reigning UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, carrying a professional record of 13-4. Standing six-foot-four with a 79-inch reach, Pereira is one of the most imposing strikers in the sport, landing 5.16 significant strikes per minute at a remarkable 62 percent striking accuracy. He trains out of Teixeira MMA and Fitness and competes out of an orthodox stance.

Holloway, known as "Blessed," headlines the Ultimate edition. The 34-year-old American from Hawaii holds a record of 27-9, trains with Gracie Technics, and currently sits fourth in the lightweight rankings and ninth in the pound-for-pound standings. At five-foot-eleven with a 69-inch reach, Holloway is regarded as one of the most prolific volume strikers the sport has produced, averaging a staggering 7.2 significant strikes per minute. His striking accuracy sits at 48 percent.
