EA Sports UFC 6 announced with Pereira and Holloway on covers

EA Sports has officially announced EA Sports UFC 6, confirming that two of the sport's most recognizable names will front the game's cover art. Alex Pereira will appear on the standard edition, while Max Holloway takes the Ultimate edition cover.

Pereira, 38, is the reigning light heavyweight champion representing Brazil out of Teixeira MMA and Fitness. The six-foot-four Orthodox striker carries a professional record of 13-4 and brings one of the sharpest outputs in the division, landing 5.16 significant strikes per minute at an impressive 62 percent accuracy. His 79-inch reach and championship status make him one of the most dominant figures in MMA today, and a natural centerpiece for the game's marquee edition.

Holloway, nicknamed "Blessed," is ranked fourth in the lightweight division and ninth on the pound-for-pound list. The 34-year-old Hawaiian orthodox fighter out of Gracie Technics holds a 27-9 record and is widely regarded as one of the sport's most prolific volume strikers, averaging 7.2 significant strikes per minute. Standing five-foot-eleven with a 69-inch reach, Holloway has long been a fan favorite and a fitting face for the Ultimate edition.
