Pereira, 38, holds the light heavyweight championship and brings a record of 13 wins and 4 losses into his cover role. The Brazilian stands six-foot-four with a 79-inch reach and trains out of Teixeira MMA and Fitness. His striking accuracy of 62 percent makes him one of the most precise punchers in the sport, landing 5.16 significant strikes per minute — a natural fit for the face of a combat sports title.

Holloway, 34, represents the lightweight division on the Ultimate edition cover. The Hawaiian carries a 27-9-0 record and is currently ranked fourth in his division and ninth in the pound-for-pound standings. Standing five-foot-eleven with a 69-inch reach, Holloway is one of the highest-volume strikers in UFC history, averaging 7.2 significant strikes per minute with 48 percent accuracy.
