ONE Championship releases multiple fighters including Gary Tonon

ONE Championship has released several fighters from both MMA and Muay Thai divisions. The most notable departure is Gary Tonon (9-2), a highly accomplished grappler who fought exclusively in ONE throughout his MMA career and previously challenged for a title. Also released were MMA fighter Magomed Akaev (10-2), and Muay Thai fighters Stefan Korodi (2-3-0), Amber Kitchen (0-2-0), and Zafer Sayik (0-3-0). While the Muay Thai fighters and Akaev had limited success and media presence in the promotion, Tonon's release is surprising given his grappling credentials and solid record.
