Quillan Salkilld says fans were upset he won by submission instead of knockout

Quillan Salkilld revealed that fans were seriously angry with him for defeating Jamie Mullarkey by submission when they expected a knockout. Salkilld explained that people don't always realize how difficult it is to finish fights at the UFC level. He had to apologize because fans saw his knockout highlights and assumed he was only a striker, not realizing he could also finish fights with submissions. Looking ahead to his next fight, Salkilld said he will try to knock his opponent out but will win however he can. The fighter acknowledges the pressure from fans who bet on him to get a knockout.
