Avazbek Kholmirzaev (16-2, 10-1 ONE) became the new ONE Championship flyweight MMA champion at ONE Samurai 1, knocking out Yuya Wakamatsu in round 2 at 4:53. In another historic result, legendary Muay Thai and kickboxing fighter Rodtang Jitmuangnon suffered his first stoppage loss in 13 years when Takeru Segawa defeated him by TKO in round 5 at 2:22 for the interim ONE flyweight kickboxing title.
