Salkilld says fans angry he submitted Mullarkey instead of knocking him out

Quillan Salkilld revealed that fans were seriously upset with him for finishing Jamie Mullarkey with a submission when they expected a knockout. Salkilld explained that people don't realize how difficult it is to finish opponents at the UFC level. He had to apologize to fans who only saw his knockouts and didn't know he could grapple as well. Salkilld joked about the situation, saying fans were angry that he submitted someone when they thought he was purely a knockout artist. He acknowledged that he will try to hit his next opponent in the head but will win however he can.
