Dave Fotsing, a 23-year-old heavyweight trained by Fernando Lopes, won his professional MMA debut in just 46 seconds against Luis Carlos de Brito (6-13). Fotsing first gained wider attention a year ago when footage of his sparring sessions with Ciryl Gane surfaced online. The post also notes that another Lopes protégé, Marcelle Sychev, has not fought in 18 months since his RCC appearance, but signed with Daniel Rubinstein's management company in September.
