Fernand Lopez's heavyweight prospect Dave Fotching scores 46-second pro debut win

Dave Fotching, a 23-year-old heavyweight student of Fernand Lopez, made his professional MMA debut with a 46-second knockout of Luis Carlos de Brito (6-13). Fotching first gained widespread attention a year ago when videos surfaced of him sparring with Ciryl Gane. The post also notes that Marcel Sychev, another fighter Lopez previously touted as a future star, has not fought in a year and a half since his RCC appearance, but signed with Daniel Rubinstein's management company in September. Rubinstein also manages Petr Yan, Arman Tsarukyan, and Rafael Fiziev among others.
