Tom Aspinall has stated that his eye injury is healing and he will soon receive clearance to return to full contact training. He revealed that the UFC has informed him his next bout will be against the winner of the fight between Alex Pereira and Ciryl Gane. Aspinall explained that those two must fight first, then recover, and once everyone is ready, they will schedule his fight. He emphasized that the proper sequence must be followed before his next appearance.
