Tom Aspinall stated that his eye injury is healing and he will soon receive clearance to return to full contact training. Aspinall revealed that the UFC has notified him his next fight will be against the winner of Alex Pereira versus Ciryl Gane. He explained that those two fighters need to complete their bout first, recover from the fight, and then when everyone is ready the matchup can proceed. Aspinall appears willing to wait for the situation to unfold naturally.
