Carlos Prates has achieved the fastest accumulation of seven knockout victories in UFC history, requiring only eight fights. The previous record holders were Junior dos Santos and Cain Velasquez, both heavyweights, who needed nine fights. Out of 2,710 fighters in UFC's 33-year history, only 62 have reached seven knockouts, representing just 2.29%. Prates has also recorded the fastest 14 knockdowns in UFC history, accomplishing this in just 17 incomplete rounds, giving him the highest knockdown percentage per 15 minutes of fight time. Additionally, he earned seven Performance of the Night bonuses faster than anyone in history, needing only eight fights compared to the average of 15 fights. Prates recently knocked out former UFC champions Joaquin Buckley and Leon Edwards, both of whom had never been knocked out before.
