Dana White explained the UFC's comprehensive weather preparation for the upcoming outdoor event at the White House, stating that lightning is the only weather condition that would halt the show. White admitted he dislikes outdoor events due to their unpredictability but emphasized the organization is working with military weather forecasters who can predict conditions 10 days in advance and will provide updates every two hours leading up to the event. The UFC is also partnering with a company experienced in outdoor concerts. Rain and snow will not stop the event, but if lightning occurs, the show can be moved up to two hours earlier or later. White joked that the only previous outdoor event he felt comfortable with was in Abu Dhabi, where he could reliably predict the weather himself.
