Sean Strickland undertook an unconventional project just one week before his fight, renting a tractor to demolish a wall on his property and build a driveway. The work needed to be completed before he departed for New Jersey. For several years, Strickland had used the area as storage for junk and debris, but decided to transform it into a functional driveway with workers scheduled to complete the project on Monday. Strickland explained his philosophy that he cannot simply relax on weekends, as the thought of sitting idle and wasting life troubles him. The segment was featured in UFC Embedded episode 1.
