Mateusz Gamrot shared his perspective on living conditions in Poland versus the United States during an appearance on the "WojewódzkiKędzierski" podcast. The UFC lightweight contended that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than America, despite having problematic laws and government issues. Gamrot cited experiences such as Americans only recently adopting portable payment terminals that Poland had implemented a decade earlier, and described American hospitality as superficial with surface-level interactions. He recounted attending barbecues in the US where he would have gone hungry without bringing his own food, contrasting this with Polish hospitality. While acknowledging the career advantages the US offers for sports, Gamrot argued that quality of life is not necessarily better in America, noting that even his children preferred returning to their grandmother in Poland despite being in Florida with beaches and palm trees.
