Mateusz Gamrot says Poland is cleaner and safer than the United States

UFC lightweight Mateusz Gamrot shared his views comparing Poland favorably to the United States in several respects during an appearance on the WojewódzkiKędzierski podcast. Gamrot stated that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than America despite its political issues. He cited examples such as Poland having contactless payment terminals a decade before many U.S. establishments adopted them. Gamrot criticized American social interactions as superficial and noted cultural differences in hospitality, recalling instances where he had to bring his own food to barbecues in the States. He acknowledged that the U.S. offers advantages for sports careers but emphasized that quality of life is not necessarily better, pointing out that even his children preferred going home to Poland despite being in Florida with beaches and palm trees.
