Mateusz Gamrot says Poland cleaner, safer, more modern than USA

UFC lightweight Mateusz Gamrot has shared extensive thoughts comparing life in Poland versus the United States, concluding his home country is superior in many respects. Gamrot stated that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and surprisingly more modern in everyday conveniences than America. He cited examples like payment terminals in restaurants being standard in Poland a decade before the US adopted them widely. Gamrot also criticized American hospitality, recounting being invited to barbecues where he would have gone hungry without bringing his own food, and noted that social interactions feel superficial with the ubiquitous "How are you? Fine, bye bye" exchanges. He mentioned that even his children prefer returning to their grandmother in Poland despite being on a beautiful Florida beach. While acknowledging the US offers career advantages for sports, Gamrot emphasized that quality of life is not necessarily better there.
