Mateusz Gamrot says Poland is cleaner and safer than the United States

Lightweight contender Mateusz Gamrot has stated that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than the United States. Gamrot shared his observations from traveling, noting that Poland has had portable payment terminals in restaurants for over a decade, while some U.S. establishments only recently adopted the technology. He criticized American hospitality, recounting being invited to barbecues where he would have gone hungry without bringing his own food, contrasting this with Polish culture. Gamrot also described American social interactions as superficial, with formulaic greetings that lack genuine interest. He acknowledged that the U.S. offers advantages for sports and career development but emphasized that quality of life is not necessarily better, noting his children prefer visiting their grandmother in Poland over Florida beaches.
