Lightweight contender Mateusz Gamrot stated on the "WojewódzkiKędzierski" podcast that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than the United States. Gamrot shared that despite Poland's governmental issues, the country maintains high standards of cleanliness and safety. He criticized American culture as superficial, citing examples like being invited to barbecues but having to bring his own food or die hungry, and shallow "how are you" conversations. The fighter noted that while the US offers advantages for sports careers, life quality isn't necessarily better, and even his children prefer visiting their grandmother in Poland over Florida beaches. Gamrot also pointed out that Poland had contactless payment technology in restaurants a decade before some US establishments.
