Mateusz Gamrot says Poland is cleaner, safer, and more modern than the United States

Lightweight contender Mateusz Gamrot shared his perspective on living in Poland versus the United States during a podcast appearance. Gamrot stated that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than America, despite having problematic laws and government. He cited examples including outdated payment technology in U.S. restaurants and superficial social interactions. Gamrot also criticized the lack of hospitality, recalling being invited to barbecues where he would have gone hungry without bringing his own food. He noted that while the U.S. offers career advantages for sports, daily life is not necessarily better, and even his children prefer Poland despite vacationing in Florida.
