He cited examples of everyday technology being adopted earlier in Poland, such as portable payment terminals that arrived 10 years earlier than in some U.S. establishments. Gamrot also criticized American hospitality, recounting instances where he was invited to barbecues but would have gone hungry without bringing his own food, contrasting this with Polish generosity. He noted that while the U.S. offers advantages for sports careers, life quality is not necessarily better, and his children even expressed preference for returning home to Poland while on a Florida vacation.
