Mateusz Gamrot stated that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than the United States. The lightweight fighter shared experiences from his time in America, including incidents where he was invited to barbecues but had to bring his own food or go hungry. Gamrot criticized superficial American interactions and noted that technological conveniences like portable payment terminals arrived in Poland years before becoming standard in US restaurants. He acknowledged that the US offers career advantages for athletes but emphasized that quality of life is not necessarily better. Gamrot mentioned that even his children prefer visiting family in Poland over staying in Florida despite the beach environment.
