Mateusz Gamrot stated that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than the United States. The Polish fighter shared his observations from traveling extensively, noting that Poland excels in everyday conveniences like payment terminals, which he says appeared in Poland years before becoming common in American restaurants. Gamrot criticized Americans as not particularly hospitable, citing experiences where he had to bring his own food to barbecues or go hungry. He also described social interactions in the US as superficial, recalling an incident during UFC Fight Week where someone was caught off guard when he didn't give the expected "fine" response to "how are you." While acknowledging the US has advantages for sports careers, Gamrot emphasized that quality of life isn't necessarily better there, and even his children prefer being in Poland despite beach vacations in Florida. He concluded that being home makes everything easier because you know all the shortcuts, whereas in the US "you're always last in every queue."
