Mateusz Gamrot stated that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than the United States, based on his extensive travel experience. The Polish fighter criticized American superficial social interactions and lack of hospitality, recounting instances where he had to bring his own food to barbecues. Gamrot noted that Poland adopted modern payment technology years before it reached American restaurants. He acknowledged the US offers advantages for sports careers but emphasized that quality of life is not necessarily better there. Gamrot shared that even his children prefer Poland to Florida, despite the beaches and palm trees. He explained that navigating everyday tasks is simpler at home where he knows all the shortcuts, whereas in the US he is always last in line.
