Mateusz Gamrot shared his views comparing Poland to the United States during a podcast appearance. The Polish fighter stated that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than America despite governmental issues. He criticized American hospitality culture as superficial, recounting experiences where he had to bring his own food to barbecues and noting that casual greetings lack genuine interest. Gamrot also pointed out that Poland adopted portable payment terminals roughly a decade before some US establishments. He acknowledged that the US offers career advantages for sports but emphasized that quality of life at home is superior, noting his children prefer Poland despite Florida's beaches. The fighter concluded that navigating daily life is simpler in Poland where he knows shortcuts and isn't always last in line.
