Mateusz Gamrot has shared extensive opinions comparing life in Poland to the United States, concluding that Poland is superior in many everyday aspects. The UFC lightweight fighter stated that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and surprisingly more modern than America in practical matters. Gamrot cited examples like payment terminals in restaurants arriving in the US a decade after Poland, and described American hospitality as superficial with shallow "how are you" greetings. He recounted bringing his own food to American barbecues or going hungry, and mentioned his children preferring to return home to their grandmother in Kudowa despite being at a Florida beach. Gamrot acknowledged the US offers career advantages for sports but insisted that daily life quality isn't necessarily better, and that navigating bureaucracy is easier at home where you know the shortcuts. His comments were made during an appearance on the "WojewódzkiKędzierski" podcast.
