Mateusz Gamrot shared extensive thoughts comparing life in Poland to the United States, stating that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than America. He described disappointing experiences with American hospitality, noting instances where he was invited to barbecues but had to bring his own food or go hungry. Gamrot criticized the superficial nature of American social interactions, recounting how people were taken aback when he gave an honest answer to "How are you?" instead of the expected "fine." He also noted that Poland had portable payment terminals in restaurants a decade before they became common in the US, challenging assumptions about American technological advancement. Gamrot acknowledged that while the US offers advantages for sports careers, daily life and problem-solving are often easier in Poland, where he knows the shortcuts and systems. He mentioned that even his children preferred returning home to their grandmother in Kudowa over staying on a beach in Florida.
