Mateusz Gamrot has shared extensive thoughts comparing Poland favorably to the United States across multiple dimensions. Speaking on the "WojewódzkiKędzierski" podcast, he argued that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many everyday aspects more modern than America. Gamrot cited examples such as Poland having portable payment terminals in restaurants a decade before the US, and criticized Americans for superficial social interactions. He described bringing his own food to American barbecues or going hungry, contrasting this with Polish hospitality. While acknowledging that the US offers career advantages for athletes, he emphasized that quality of life is not necessarily better there, noting even his children preferred returning to Poland from Florida. Gamrot also mentioned that handling everyday matters is easier in Poland where he knows all the shortcuts, whereas in the US he feels like he's always last in any queue.
